This tour is a delightful introduction to Shenzhen, showcasing both the historical and entertainment perspective of the city, embodying the vibrant energy of this Southern Chinese boom town. Begin the day with a visit ot the Dafen Oil Painting Village, a local arts commune specializing in oil paintings followed by a downtown city tour. See the Terracotta Warrior and Horses replicas on display in a local gift centre. Enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch, followed by a visit to two of the most popular theme parks in Shenzhen. A day guaranteed with adventures, it is one of the most memorable ways to experience Hong Kong's closest neighbour in China!

Splendid China
The world’s largest miniature theme park highlighting more than 100 popular historical sites and sceneries of China, such as the Great Wall, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, the Ming Tombs, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and a host of other famous sites. The proportion between the actual landmarks and the miniatures is 15 to 1. This theme park is a fun way to learn about the history of China!

China Folk Culture Villages
Explore China's colourful heritage and the whole development of the nation as a whole! The park is situated by the picturesque Shenzhen Bay with 24 life-sized village models representing China's 56 ethnic minorities. The villages highlight the diversified forms of ethnic lifestyles, folk art and architecture from different regions of China, and is a fun exploration of the culturally diverse China we know of today.

  • One way pick up from selected hotel.
  • Depart for Shenzhen via air-conditioned first class train.
  • Visit Dafen Oil Painting Village, home to over 2,000 artists and more than 200 painting studios. Known as the city’s “first village of commissioned painting”, it is one of the largest oil painting communes in the world.
  • See for yourself the rapid developments of Shenzhen as a city, through a city tour by coach.
  • Visit a gift centre to view the Xian Terracotta Warriors and Horses replicas followed by a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Spend approximately 2 hours for a more detailed exploration of Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages.
  • Return to Hong Kong by train. Tour ends at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Kowloon.


  • Tour ends in Tsimshatsui, the major shopping/dining district in Kowloon. You can explore the exciting night life of the Golden Mile (Nathan Road) nearby or return to Hotel on your own for a relaxing evening.
