Cultural & Culinary Exploration (with Cooking Class)

What’s the best way to appreciate the flavours and culture of Chinese cuisine? A combination of exploring a local wet market and a three hour immersion in the art of Chinese cooking. This tour offers an amazing market-to-table culinary experience you just can’t miss!

The tour starts off with a leisurely stroll through a traditional wet market, where you will shop for the necessary ingredients for your cooking class before enjoying a hands-on cooking experience in a professional kitchen in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Mongkok Wet Market
An open-air local market with buzzy stalls lined on either side of a narrow street selling fresh meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables and fruits. Experience the sights and sounds of old-school market business in full swing.

Cooking Class
After picking fresh ingredients from the market, you will put on your aprons, roll up your sleeves, and begin preparing three of the most popular and favoured Chinese dishes (Gong Bao Chicken / Sweet & Sour Pork / Chinese Dumpling) with hands-on help from a friendly and passionate professional chef.

Inclusion:

  •  Fares for public transportations, English-speaking Tour Ambassador service for the ‘Market Tour’ and the three hour ‘Cooking Class’ by a professional chef (all equipment and ingredients included).

  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 people.

  • This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 6.

  • Tour will conclude in Tsim Sha Tsui after the ‘Cooking Class’.
